Information: Official PONY Tottenham Hotspur home football shirt from 1997/99, as worn by ‘Spurs’ during a period of change at White Hart Lane, where a number of managers, including Hughton, Francis, Pleat and Gross, tried to turn around the club's fortunes. The appointment of Arsenal favourite George Graham in September '98 certainly raised eyebrows, but Graham set about silencing his doubters, climbing the table and winning the Worthington Cup. The reverse of the shirt boasts the nameset of hugely gifted French forward, David Ginola, who is fondly remembered by Tottenham fans for his exceptional skill and impact on the side. Ginola was inducted into the club's Hall of Fame in 2008. A fantastic vintage jersey, ideal for a collection of your own or the perfect gift for any football fan.
Teammates: Including Walker, Anderton, Klinsmann, Campbell, Carr & Armstrong.
Condition: Excellent. Superb colour, material is smooth with a few bobbles & tiny pulls, no snags or marks. Embroidered manufacturer logo and stitched team badge are excellent, as is flock chest sponsor. Reproduction flock player nameset to reverse like new. Collar, sleeves and hem in fabulous condition. A wonderful example.
