Information: Official Adidas Real Madrid Home football shirt from 1998/00, as worn by 'Los Blancos' when they finished 2nd and then 5th in La Liga, then famously won the first Champions League final of the new millennium by defeating fellow Spaniard's Valencia 3-0. 1999 also saw the departure of manager Gus Hiddink after his criticism of some of the first team squad. His replacement was a somewhat surprising choice in Welsh legend John Toshack, who returned to the club ten years after originally leaving. He too publicly came out with negative feedback on the players, which saw him dismissed just 9 months later. Vicente del Bosque came in to steady the ship, guiding the side back to the summit of European football later that season with their Champions League win. The reverse of the shirt boasts the nameset of Brazilian legendary full back, Roberto Carlos, who has been described as the "most offensive-minded left-back in the history of the game". A fantastic vintage jersey, ideal for a collection of your own or the perfect gift for any football fan.
