Information: Official Adidas Bayern Munich Home Football Shirt from 1998/99, as worn by 'Die Roten' when they finished as champions of the Bundesliga, finishing 15 points ahead of second placed Bayer Leverkusen, and made it to the final of the DFB-Pokal, losing 5-4 on penalties against Bayer Leverkusen. The reverse of the shirt boasts the nameset of Thomas Helmer, who made 191 appearances in his successful 8 years with the club. He left the team at the end of this season, joining newly promoted Sunderland in the Premier League, where he retired soon after. A fantastic vintage jersey, ideal for a collection of your own or the perfect gift for any football fan.

Condition: Excellent. Superb dark blue and red colour, smooth and silky material with little signs of bobbling. A few black marks on left sleeve (see photos). Beautifully embroidered logo and club badge, flock chest sponsor shows evidence of a little colour run. Superb flock nameset on reverse in lovely condition for its age.
