Information: Official Adidas home football shirt from the 2001/02 season, as worn when the German giants failed to defend their Bundesliga title, eventually finishing 3rd. The club also reached the semi finals of the DFB-Pokal and were knocked out in the quarter finals of the UEFA Champions League. The shirt boasts the nameset of formidable German International midfielder, Steffan Effenberg.
Teammates: Including Elber, Janker, Scholl, Zickler & Effenberg.
Condition: Excellent. Very good colours, material is smooth with just a few bobbles. Club badge, sponsor and manufacturer logo are excellent. Player nameset on reverse is mint, likely added retrospectively. Minor wear/marking to the Bayer Munich name on shirt reverse (see photos). Fabulous Bundesliga item.
